Project Management of  Repair and Restoration Coating  FBI building

Client’s Objective:

To Extend the life of the roof system.
The modified Bitumen roof white cap was in need of major repairs and was failing in some areas. The roof appeared to have had
multiple repairs over the years.

The building was experiencing major water intrusion and there appeared to be some thermal movement taking place causing the
fiberglass felts to stretch and tear allowing moisture intrusion.
Repairs were needed to repair sealant that was has failed in the tilt up concrete panels as well as the vertical laps and perimeter wall flashings.  Additional fastners were needed in the 1” fiberboard insulation.

The repairs were made to bring the roof system up to the manufacture code prior to
applying the primer and
Solorgard Elastomeric 6083 Coating thus extending the life of the
Roof system.
